Hornby Island Building Information:
Hornby is in the Comox Valley Regional District. There is no building inspection on Hornby, but a number of regulation do apply. See Building on Hornby.
Land Use on Hornby is managed by Islands Trust. The Hornby Island Land Use Bylaw 150 covers the permitted uses for buildings, accessory buildings, siting, setbacks and zoning. A copy of the Bylaw can be found here.
