Pender is in the Captial Regional District (CRD). For information on building a home in the CRD, see the Building Regulations.
Land Use on Pender is managed by Islands Trust. It is split into North & South Pender. The North Pender Island Land Use Bylaw 103 covers the permitted uses for buildings, accessory buildings, siting, setbacks and zoning. A copy of the Bylaw can be found here. South Pender here.
